This project focused on rebranding a generic product into an luxury item. I chose a hand sanitizer and developed Aura, a minimalist, elegant brand that blends functionality with sophistication. The design targets a style-conscious consumer looking for hygiene products that match a refined lifestyle.
The creative process began with research and conceptual development, establishing a name, brand identity, and packaging style that aligned with the luxury market. I sketched and explored layout ideas with an emphasis on clean typography, negative space, and subtle elegance. The vertical logotype plays with form and legibility, drawing attention on a shelf while maintaining a modern, upscale look.
The color palette was deliberately muted, using warm neutrals and soft beige tones to evoke cleanliness, calm, and purity, core attributes for a product in the wellness space. The restrained palette also reinforces the premium aesthetic, avoiding bold or distracting colors that might clash with the minimalist intent.
One of the most distinctive elements of this design is the custom 3D printed hexagonal sleeve that partially encloses the bottle. This geometric outer shell adds structure, visual interest, and a tactile layer that elevates the user experience. It serves both aesthetic and functional purposes, reinforcing the brand’s modern identity while giving the package a sculptural, collectible quality. The contrast between the angular sleeve and the soft curves of the bottle introduces a refined tension that makes the product feel both innovative and artistic.
Using Adobe Illustrator, I created flat label designs that were tested for clarity, hierarchy, and compliance. The final packaging was applied to a 3D model in Adobe Dimension, allowing for realistic material and lighting simulations.
The final render, shown here, presents Aura in a neutral, textured setting that enhances its premium character. The subdued color palette and minimalist geometry of the environment help the product stand out, evoking calmness and purity, qualities essential to the brand.
