approach
My approach began with analyzing the mission and communication needs of the Student Success Office. I focused on understanding how students interact with support services and how visual identity could improve approachability, trust, and clarity.
challenges
One of the main challenges was balancing institutional professionalism with warmth and accessibility. The design needed to feel credible and official without appearing distant or intimidating to students.
concept and inspiration
The concept centers on stability, support, and growth. The visual identity reflects the office’s role as a foundation for student success, using structured layouts, balanced compositions, and a familiar color palette, reinforcing clarity and confidence, to align the brand with academic excellence and student empowerment
Design execution
The execution involved designing a complete brand guideline system that includes logo variations, color specifications, typographic standards, and mockup applications. The manual was developed to provide clear direction for future branding use and ensure long-term consistency.
